Our Campus

JPA is set on eleven hectares of beautiful gardens approx. 25 minutes west of Siem Reap, near Tachet village. Rice paddies and sugar palms surround us; birdlife is abundant and water buffalo graze nearby. Lower school is surrounded by lawns, dotted with playground equipment and flowering trees. Middle School sits between Upper and Lower School, near the library, canteen and attendance hall. Upper School classrooms give on to a central, separate quad. All classrooms are detached, spacious and airy. Each has beautiful, tranquil views across our ponds and gardens and their own lawns and shaded verandas.

Covered breezeways link the entire school with displays of students' work outside of each classroom. Students arrive at the campus by JPA school bus, bicycle or on foot. Our students arrive at 7:00 am for breakfast, library time and board games in the assembly hall before classes begin at 8:00 am.

Students are served three nutritious meals a day from our well-equipped, modern kitchen. At JPA, our food is sourced locally and we recycle as much as possible. Food waste is taken by a local family and used to raise pigs. Paper, cans, and bottles are all recycled. We use pond water to irrigate our gardens.

JPA is a beautiful place to work and study. Teachers who genuinely want to make a difference will find that this is a place where change really happens.
